  • Volume 3 starts with:
  1. a lamentation that enough Muslims are not paying
  2. An ad saying "the book is now over 300 juz (4-32 pages each) and really worth 100 rupees but people are only being asked to pay 10-15 rupees"
  3. Request to Muslim associations to obey the British government and to consider it a great blessing
  • FASL 1 (Argument 1): Internal and External Evidence of the Truth of the Holy Qur'an and and its Superiority
    • Page 143-150 - a definition of terms and what types of evidence is acceptable in logic.
    • Page 150 the infamous Footnote 11 begins and in it MGA tries to bridge the gap between God's words and human words and starts to lay the argument for MGA ilhaams.
    • Page 150-204 (main text - about 2 pages and a poem excluding the footnotes): "O stupid people, is the word of God not even like an insect that has been created by God."
    • Pages 205-246 (main text - about 2 pages in all excluding the footnotes): It is obvious and mentioned in the Qur'an that for the Qur'an to be the word of God it should be better than the word of humans.
    • Pages 247-310 (main text - about 3 pages without footnote): One does not need great Arabic knowledge to know Qur'an and there is no knowledge that is not in the Qur'an and there is a challenge to anyone to produce anything in any language that cannot be found in the Qur'an. Even if one were to be threatened with death to produce something like the Qur'an, he would not be able to.
    • This volume stops in mid-sentence.
    • Pages 311-312 - Ad mentioning an excuse to those who had pre-paid for the very long gap to print volume 3 (1881-1884). The excuse is that the printing press was closed for a very long time. The printing press was owned by a Christian priest and to answer the question why another press could not be chosen, the author says it was because Riaz Hind Princess (priest's press) does a good job.
    • It is very apparent that the 300 juz (1200+ pages) of Braheen was never written but had been claimed, and therefore the excuses appear everywhere throughout Braheen. Here, the author is also apologetic that Volume 3 is still yet only laying down the basics.
